about

HI!

We are so glad you could join us here and would love to tell you more about the "Table"

The Table of Hope grew out of a community need...

Tikkun Farm had been feeding and supporting their surrounding community with various classes and gatherings but when the pandemic came, they had to switch gears and find a way to continue that support, safely. When they quickly grew from feeding 20 families to 300 each week with their Nourishing Families Crock Pot Program, they found themselves needing to find a connection on the West Side of Cincinnati, an area that they could no longer serve due to distance and volunteer constraints. Pastor Brian and Jalal found themselves at Tikkun after reading about it and feeling a connection to what God was doing there. The rest of the story is better told around a campfire with a warm mug...we are very much looking forward to those days!

We have been amazed at how quickly this has grown in its reach and in the depth of the hearts of those who are a part of it. One of our main goals is to blur the lines between those serving and those being served. We have been witness to this already as some of the food support recipients are now the hands who help deliver. Our prayer is that one day soon, as we stand and support each side by side, we will all just be known as a community that loves one another well.

There are two parts to this ministry:

MARKET:

First, is the Sunday FREE Market program made possible by our partnership with the FreeStore Food Bank- every Sunday 12:30-1:30 pm (except for our announced breaks) we have a FREE Food Market!

We would love to see you! The offering is a little different each week but all who visit will get to shop for a variety of goods including protein, vegetables, canned goods, frozen, dairy & more!

If it is your first visit we just need your name, address, and household count for our records to the Free Store (We promise not to spam you ;) ) We also encourage you to check on your neighbors and maybe pick up a box for anyone who can't make it or might not have transportation. We will just need their name, address & household count. Hope to see you soon!

CROCK-POT MEALS:

The second part is the Crockpot Meal Delivery Program-We provide a crockpot and then weekly, a team will create a recipe, prepare all the ingredients, assemble the meal kits, and deliver them to families to cook and enjoy in their own homes. We are currently at capacity for delivery due to financial and volunteer constraints but we hope this will change soon! We do have a waiting list you can add your name to here: (https://forms.gle/g9BKceVYP91eBny28) We will let you know as soon as this opens up.
